The Veterans of foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) increased the national annual dues by ten dollars ($10.00), as of January 1, 2014, from eleven dollars and fifty cents ($11.50) to twenty-one dollars and fifty cents ($21.50). The ten dollars and no cents ($10.00) per person dues to the Department remain unchanged.
VFW policy and Post By-laws require the Post to charge annual dues which cover the National and Department dues which now amount to thirty-one dollars and fifty cents ($31.50). Additionally, VFW Department of Nevada District Five charges annual dues of fifty cents (0.50). John Lukac VFW Post 12093, therefore, raised our annual dues to thirty-five dollars and no cents ($35.00) on January 1, 2014. This means the Post portion of the annual dues is three dollars and no cents ($3.00).
